Rob's Story
This is a piña colada built with control.
Shaking instead of blending keeps the texture clean and the dilution intentional. The lime isn't traditional, but it's what keeps the drink from going flat—it sharpens the pineapple and balances the coconut.
The split rum base adds depth. The dark rum brings weight, while the coconut rum reinforces the profile without relying entirely on the cream.
Fresh ice matters here. A dirty pour will over-dilute and flatten the drink before you get through it.

Pro Tips
Shake, do not blend — cleaner texture, intentional dilution, service-speed.
Use a rich coconut cream for proper texture.
Split base (dark + coconut rum) carries the colada profile without relying entirely on the cream.
