Chocolate-Covered Cherry Old Fashioned

Dark, rich, and built to actually taste like a chocolate-covered cherry.

Prep: 3 min
Method: stir
Glass: Rocks glass with a large clear ice cube
Flavor Profile:
sweetbitterfruity

Rob's Story

This is a flavor build, not a garnish trick.

The cherry syrup integrates the fruit into the structure of the drink, while the chocolate bitters layer on top. The bourbon brings a natural cherry-leaning profile that reinforces the whole idea instead of fighting it.

Everything is doing a job; nothing is decorative. Serve over a large clear ice cube to control dilution and keep the drink structured from first sip to last.
